My name is Marissa and I am a 29 year old stay-at-home mama to 4 amazing children, with #5 on the way, and wife to the most motivated man in the world.
A little about myself...
I have energy (most of the time)! I can be annoying with my over usage of exclamation marks, but the way I type is the way I talk. So my squeals!!!!! and my happy dances!!!!! are as literal as the words and their punctuation. Grammatically, you will get a very good sense of who I am, even if we have never officially "met," especially since I can't speell worth a lick.
I am in love with my husband and fall more and more in love with him everyday. He is amazing. Brilliant. Sincere. Handsome. Quiet. And mine. He is the ying to my yang and keeps me grounded, focused, and complete. We have been married 4 1/2 years. I love the quote, "I am not happy ALL day. But I am happy EVERY day." Our marriage is perfectly imperfect. Our parenting style is not the same. Our faith is not the same. Our culture is not the same. But we strive everyday to blend our perspectives and grow as a couple and to challenge each other to think outside the box. Most days we succeed, some days we fail. I will grow old with this wonderful man and he is my heart.
I am rediscovering faith and will be documenting my journey. We attend Church three times a month and absolutely love our new "church family." I was raised Methodist, lost my path, and am now learning and growing as a Christian. I hope in the near future to be Baptised when in my heart I am ready.
I love to talk. Although, I have been trying not to "think out loud" as often and to really listen more.
I enjoy being busy with the days activities.
I am a true Floridian but cannot handle heat and you will hear countless complaints about my uncontrollable armpit and facial sweating!
Up until two years ago, I despised cooking. But now, not only do I truly enjoy it but I think I'm pretty good at it!!
