Minh's 3rd Triathlon {pictures and video}!

Father's Day was a very busy morning for us!  Not only did my husband find out he was going to be a daddy of five, but our oldest competed in his 3rd Triathlon!  My in-laws watched our 3 and 4 year olds and I wore our 1 year old in the Ergo as I ran after Minh as he raced (this is no stand still spectator sport!).  I was up super early setting up his bike, helmet, and gear at the transition area {aka place where the athletes park their bikes and race in to get them in between running and swimming}.  Minh was extremely nervous, but as soon as his wave (7&8 year olds) took off, he went into hyper drive!  He ran, biked, and swam his heart out!!!  He did GREAT in the transition area (kids are not allowed any help...they must get their helmets on, get their bikes, race, then bring them back and park in the same spot, take off helmets and shoes and head to the pool) and we are so proud of him!!!  He placed  15/23 in the male 7 & 8 year old group, and 30th/74  in the male & female 7 & 8 year old group.  He had an AWESOME time of 22 minutes, 51 seconds!  We were so proud of him and I know dad left feeling like the king of the world-a new baby coming and a triathlete son :o)  Every race he participates are such a marvelous events filled with motivated parents dedicated to keeping their children healthy...it really is an amazing experience full of healthy competition!  Check out the pictures and video below!

Got his number and timing band on.
