1. Cost {and savings} of Membership Passes: I recommend any Florida resident who visits Busch Gardens once a year to check out their membership passes. We purchased their 2 year passes which were $169.99, but received a 20% discount since we previously had their 1 year pass. Also, for members who took advantage of last years free preschool pass you are now allowed to renew for your children 5 and under for FREE.
2. Easy Access: It is right off the interstate which is fabulous for us since we're not in the same county.
3. FREE Parking: Because of our membership pass we now receive FREE parking! Parking is $13 per visit, and since we're there weekly, this saves us at least $52 per month, or around $600 per year. Those parking fees can really add up!
4. Stroller Parking: Busch Gardens just started a stroller parking section last year which is AWESOME for a "large family" with four little kids! Not to mention, taking the tram was a beast (breaking down the stroller, piling the kids on, holding onto our gear and kids. zoiks. I was a hot mess by the time we got to the entrance!). The only catch? It's first come, first serve meaning you must be there no later than when they open to get the front row parking spots. Which again, is no issue for us since we're out and about super early.
5. The Animal Exhibits are better than the Zoo and Very Educational: They have redone numerous animal exhibits and wow, wow, wow! They also have staff walking around with the animal for some up close and personal experiences. We quiz the kids on what they learned when we leave.
6. Membership Discounts within the Park: We receive 10-20% off food and products within the park with our membership. An example that saves tons of money is we purchased the maama jaama plastic drink for $6.99, but it's refills are .99 (with membership card come out to .95)...so we just bring it every time we go and we don't ever have to spend $ on multiple drinks at the park. Just one refill replenishes all of us! And it will become a life saver during summer time when everyone is drenched in sweat.
7. The AMAZING Shows: Seriously, they're awesome! Some are Seasonal such as the ice skating show, but others are year round: Elmo, Critter Show, Circe de Soleil, and others we have yet to attend. It's a great way to escape the heat and all are kid friendly.
8. Elmo's Safari Land {including a large splash area}: This place ROCKS! It's geared for little kids with a ginormous play area, kid rides, splash zone, bounce area, sand box, Elmo Show, Family Restrooms and Elmo Breakfast and Lunch...and don't forget stroller parking for my behemoth double.
9. Lush, Mature Landscaping for Substantial Shade: In the Florida heat this natural plus is a life saver! And the foliage is just beautiful!
10: The Rides, the Characters and the Experience is FUN!: We just love love love Busch Gardens!!!!
